Seth Ator was born on September 27, 1982 to Debra Sue Warren and Denis Keith Ator, who divorced in 1987 and had two children together. 7 people were dead after gunman Seth Ator, 36, hijacked a postal service vehicle in West Texas. More than 20 people were shot, including 3 law enforcement officers. The shooting began at 3:15 MST along Interstate 20. Police were able to shoot and kill Ator at the Cinergy movie complex in Odessa later that afternoon. Ator — who hails from central-estern Texas — was living in a mobile home prior to the incident, and worked as a truck driver, according to reports. The 36-year-old previously failed a background check, and was charged with “criminal trespass” on August 3, 2001 in McLennan County, Texas. He was also charged with Evading Arrest, which he later pleaded guilty too and received a 24 month probation sentence.
