As expected of the romantic sentimentalist that Ed Sheeran is, the Grammy-winning singer’s romance with his wife, Cherry Seaborn, goes way back. The lovers were just teenagers when they met at Thomas Mills High School in Suffolk, England, but didn’t reconnect until 2015, when Ed’s tour brought him to New York City.
‘One of our best friends worked on my tour, so when we came to New York, where she was living at the time, we hung out and reconnected through our mutual friend. She’s great,’ Ed told ‘Us Weekly. They became engaged right before ringing in 2018, which Ed confirmed on Instagram!

Cherry holds a molecular biology degree and a master’s degree in management studies/foundations of business from Duke University, where she was a star hockey player. She is now a manager at Deloitte UK, according to her LinkedIn page.
